Anti-scam, anti-human trafficking

Our Impact and Vision

How this organization established

Victims to Pioneers

Anti Scam & Trafficking Rescue International (ASTR Int'l) is a non-governmental organization focused on combating the dual crises of scams and human trafficking. Through dedicated rescue efforts, victim support, and community education, we strive to create a safer world for everyone.

Currently, we have established a comprehensive victim support and guidance system, having reported over a thousand scam platforms and successfully prevented thousands of potential victims from falling prey to fraud. Additionally, we have issued timely alerts to individuals being scammed, enabling them to minimize their losses.

Furthermore, we have developed robust rescue channels and forged partnerships with professional rescue organizations, successfully rescuing hundreds of individuals who were victims of human trafficking.

In 2021, during the pandemic, I became a victim of a scam that profoundly changed my understanding of cybercrime. It all started with a seemingly innocent friend request on Facebook, which I accepted. The individual quickly initiated a friendly conversation and offered to teach me about investments. However, when I attempted to withdraw my funds, I was unexpectedly asked to pay a "tax." After carefully reviewing the legal provisions, I found no grounds for such a request. It was at this moment I realized I had fallen victim to a well-crafted scam.

Determined to prevent others from experiencing the same, I began researching and sharing information about this scam on social media. Through this effort, I connected with other victims who had endured similar experiences. Together, we founded the International Anti-Scam Alliance (IASA) with the mission of raising awareness about cyber fraud and protecting individuals from falling prey to such schemes.

While conducting our anti-scam campaigns, we uncovered a disturbing truth: not all scammers are perpetrators by choice. Many individuals working in scam operations are themselves victims, often lured, kidnapped, or trafficked into these criminal networks. They are coerced into committing scams under threat of violence and abuse, often referred to as cyber slaves.

Realizing the gravity of this situation, we expanded IASA’s mission to not only raise awareness about scams but also to rescue and rehabilitate those forced into these operations. In 2024, we officially rebranded the organization as ASTR (Anti Scam and Trafficking Rescue) International. Today, our organization is dedicated to:

  • Educating the public on how to recognize and avoid scams.
  • Providing support and resources to scam victims.
  • Advocating for the rescue, rehabilitation, and reintegration of cyber slaves trapped in scam syndicates.

At ASTR, we believe that by joining forces, we can build a safer digital environment and bring hope to those who have suffered in the dark corners of cybercrime. Together, we can make a meaningful impact.
