Two Chinese minors, Lan X X and Wen X X, who were deceived and taken to New Taichung Park in Kyauk Ka, Myanmar, have been successfully rescued with the assistance of ASTR Int'l volunteers and the Chinese Ministry of Public Security’s task force in Thailand. At the time of their entry into the park, they were 14 and 15 years old, respectively, and by the time of their rescue, they were 15 and 16 years old.
During the summer vacation in 2023, the two minors were lured by acquaintances with promises of high-paying jobs abroad and opportunities to learn new skills. They were subsequently trafficked to Taichang Scam Park in Myawaddy, Myanmar, and later sold to New Taichung Park. On March 9, 2025, the victims managed to seek external help and contacted ASTR Int'l through volunteers. After verifying their situation with the victims and their families, ASTR Int'l reported the case to members of the Chinese Ministry of Public Security’s task force in Thailand.
As a result, the two minors were successfully rescued on March 25, 2025. They are currently under the custody of the Thai immigration authorities in Mae Sot, awaiting repatriation.
